- Supervise all drilling, completion, and workover operations ensuring compliance with the drilling program and HSE standards.
- Coordinate and direct all service company personnel and third-party contractors on location.

- Incident-free track record and demonstrated safety leadership.
- Familiarity with digital drilling reporting and real-time data systems.
Market Intelligence
$1,100–$1,550/day
Shortage Level: Critical
Key Skills Gap: The number of Company Men with deepwater experience and current IWCF Level 4 certification is insufficient to staff the global rig fleet; the role requires a combination of technical depth, leadership, and willingness to work rotational offshore that few candidates possess.
Regions in Highest Demand: Middle East, West Africa, North Sea, Australasia, Gulf of Mexico
Demand Drivers: Global rig count expansion; retirement of experienced Company Men who left during the 2020 downturn; deepwater operations demanding higher-calibre supervisors; safety regulatory pressure requiring fully certified personnel.
