Position Overview

The Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) is the senior company representative and ultimate authority on an offshore installation, responsible for the safety, welfare, and operational performance of all personnel and activities on the facility. This role carries statutory obligations under national petroleum safety legislation and requires an individual who can make critical decisions under pressure. The combination of regulatory responsibility, leadership capability, and technical competence makes qualified OIMs one of the most scarce leadership resources in the offshore sector.
