Lead construction management for a green electrical vessel program in China. Requires experience with electric or hybrid vessel construction and shipyard operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead construction management for green electrical/hybrid vessel building program
Oversee vessel construction activities at shipyard including hull, outfitting and systems installation
Coordinate with design team for electric propulsion and battery systems integration
Ensure construction quality, safety and schedule compliance
Manage subcontractors and vendor activities at construction site
Review and approve method statements, ITPs and risk assessments
Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions
Liaise with classification society and regulatory bodies for approvals
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of construction management experience in shipbuilding or marine projects
Experience with electric/hybrid vessel construction preferred
Strong knowledge of classification society rules (DNV, LR, ABS)
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
