Mechanical Engineer — Desert O&G Field (Middle East)

Role Overview

Working with an international client, looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join on a 28/28 rotation, long-term, based on an Oil & Gas field in desert conditions. Responsible for mechanical design, detailed engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical engineering activities for onshore oil & gas projects
• Review and approve mechanical design deliverables and equipment specifications
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment selection, evaluation and procurement
• Ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with API, ASME and client standards
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment
• Manage mechanical scope changes, TQs and deviation requests
• Review vendor data documentation and ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with other disciplines for interface coordination

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 8 years experience in O&G, with significant experience in oil and gas processing projects involving detailed engineering of rotating and static mechanical equipment
