Principal Cost Controls Specialist

Role Overview

This is an high-priority position based in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands, working with Major International EPC Contractor. The role requires expertise in EVM, Cost Forecasting, Progress Measurement, WBS/CBS, Primavera P6, Oil & Gas Offshore. Full job description is available upon request.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost control and forecasting for offshore/FPSO projects
• Develop and maintain project cost reports including earned value analysis
• Prepare cost estimates for scope changes and variation orders
• Monitor project expenditure against budget and identify variances
• Support project management with cost-related decision making
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for cost tracking
• Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts
• Implement cost control procedures and ensure compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 10 years of cost control experience in oil & gas / offshore projects
• Proficiency in cost management software and tools
• Strong knowledge of earned value management (EVM)
• Experience with FPSO or large-scale offshore project cost control
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills
